Goal 8 of the Global Goals for sustainable development, set to be adopted this week by the United Nations, seeks to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

The B Team's Richard Branson, in a recent blog post writes that "Goal 8 gives us the chance to prove that business can be a force for good, and support the creation of a thriving economy for people and the planet."

We are indeed seeing many examples of new ways of working, with businesses rethinking their relationship with their employees and building innovative workplaces that allow people to thrive.
