Paul Polman: How Can Business Make a Difference in Paris?

The World Bank recently estimated that climate change could push more than 100 million additional people back into poverty by 2030. This is a critical reminder that we can't solve climate change without embracing the economic and social-development aspirations of the developing and emerging world. The COP21 agreement is one of the first tests of the world's ability to make the progress needed to support the Sustainable Development Goals and what is clear is that business will have to stand shoulder to shoulder with government to set us on a path to a thriving and just net-zero emissions economy.
