On December 10 2013, B Team Leader Paul Polman addressed the sixth session of the United Nations' Open Working Group for Sustainable Development on the need for real partnerships to achieve sustainable development and to ensure that the next set of global development goals are ambitious and achievable.

Together with other stakeholders the United Nations is currently designing the next set of global development goals with the hope of setting out on an ambitious path to end extreme poverty and address the environmental challenges we face.
