The B Team is looking for a Chief of Staff to join our team. The Chief of Staff should be a proactive, strategic thinker who is passionate about The B Team’s vision (a world in which business leadership drives a prosperous and fair future on a healthy planet for all). The Chief of Staff is integral to all that we do and will be a connecting force that drives us forwards.
We are looking for someone with the energy and passion to work across the full breadth of our work, building strong relationships with our community and team. The Chief of Staff should have a diverse skillset, with a clear focus on relationship building and an eye for detail and quality.
Working across The B Team, key responsibilities may include a mix of the following:
CEO support: strategic planning and briefing
- Providing strategic advice to the CEO on priorities and relationships, emphasising an external focus.
- Managing the evaluation and coordination of key engagements for the CEO.
- Working closely and effectively with the CEO to keep them well-briefed on upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and ensuring follow up.
- Coordinating alignment across the staff team, supporting strategic decision making to achieve organizational goals.
- Overseeing scheduling, travel, logistical and expense arrangements.
B Team Leader stewardship
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with Leader teams.
- Supporting the activation of Leaders around key events/moments.
- Supporting the CEO relationship with the Leaders.
- Managing the Leader recruitment process in alignment with the strategy.
- Supporting community relationships and communications.
Team communication/cohesion
- Ensure a continuous flow of relevant information between CEO/Leaders and the team.
- Helping to uplift and maintain the organization’s culture, teaming and learning.
- Keeping a pulse check on team morale to ensure individuals feel happy, motivated and supported to contribute to our mission.
Projects/events
- Support around key events and meetings.
- Advancing team learning.
- Maintaining Leader information.
- Leading on/supporting special projects.
The Chief of Staff may also be required to take on other duties as needs arise to help drive forward our mission and vision.

Conditions
Our Work Environment: Most of our team work remotely, and The B Team will provide support to ensure a productive remote working environment. We do have access to offices in London, while other staff are based in New York and Berlin.
Job Requirements: The right to work either in the US or UK is required. Travel is required for this role.
