With our planet currently facing significant social and environmental challenges, governments from around the world will on 25th September 2015 commit to 17 Global Goals for sustainable development.
The Global Goals present an unprecedented opportunity to eliminate extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, address climate change and put the world on a sustainable path. But in order to advance the Global Goals business has a major role to play.
To help with this, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and the United Nations Global Compact have developed the SDG Compass, a tool that explains how the Global Goals will affect your business and provides insight into how you can put sustainable ways of working at the heart of your business.
